2019 Goal 1: Making £1,000 per Month Online – Some Background

Yesterday I recorded my goals for 2019. I realise that on reading those it may seem that I am being overly optimistic in what can be achieved in a year but I wanted to provide some background information on each goal and some of the baby steps I intend to take to put each into action.

Background to earning money online

I have been working at earning a living online since the birth of my first child in 2012, so almost 7 years. I have tried my hand at many different things and at this point I have a better idea of what works and what doesn’t. Earning money via article websites, adding Google adsense on personal websites, linking to products using Amazon affiliates, and Drop Shipping are a few of the approaches I have incorporated with different levels of success.

I intend to use this blog to describe each of these approaches and explain how I have implemented them. At this point I am not making £1,000 per month but I plan to be by the end of 2019. Have you ever tried to make money online?

The baby steps for goal 1

I am firstly a full time mum to 3 young children so in order to work I have to make the best use of my spare time. This is only possible by taking small baby steps towards big goals. The first baby step for goal one was to create this website, second is to put together a portable work bag that can be pulled out anytime I find a few minutes, and the third is to make a list of tasks I can complete in fifteen minute chunks.

That’s it for today on goal one I will be back to share more at a later date.
